Naming[edit]

Should the second hyphen be removed from (pre-20th-century)?

Merger proposal[edit]

The history section of the main Aesthetics article article should be merged here. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 00:03, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Oppose: I have problems with merging the two. 1)- The main article is considered "Aesthetics" and needs a history section. 2)- The section in the main article is better referenced than this large, one sourced and possible copied, article. I have not looked up the source but I have suppositions that there is plagiarism, original research, or both. I would have to look more closely at the main article section and it might be as bad but surely can't be worse. 3)- This is a subject that needs expert editing and probably should be tagged "Expert-verify" or the like. 4)- Merging the two at this time will be moving some verified content into a one-sourced, non-referenced article and will only accomplish making it look better prima facie.
  • This article is misclassified, as far as I am concerned, and should not have made it out of "start class" with such poor referencing and this needs to be addressed before expansion by merging. Otr500 (talk) 11:45, 9 December 2010 (UTC)
  • Tag deleted based on comments here. I made this page a main article link for Aesthetics which will hopefully draw attention to this page's existence and get it improved. D O N D E groovily Talk to me 01:51, 6 August 2011 (UTC)
