Article needs Meat[edit]

  • Downgraded article grading to D's

This article as found in August 2013 is extremely superficial and very incomplete. I added more base information in the history of Anthracite coal mining in the world survey article History of coal mining than this US History article contains. This is obviously a backwards arrangement, usually scant synopsis information is extracted from a comprehensive article focused on a smaller region. // FrankB 03:29, 25 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

the article reflects the reliable secondary sources and is much better than comparable articles for other countries. Rjensen (talk) 03:48, 25 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Missing "Late 20th century"[edit]

There is a section for "Early 20th century" that ends with 1932 coal production and then the article jumps to "Early 21 century" with 2014 data. I will see if I can find information to fill this 82 year gap. Idrathereatpie (talk) 19:37, 1 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
