A gene and a protein and a disease[edit]

I added the "Molecular Genetics" section to the Linus Pauling entry - the first association of a protein difference with an inherited disease. This is, it seems to me, a basic item in the history of molecular biology. --Dumarest 14:06, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:Crick.jpg[edit]

The image Image:Crick.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here.
