How long did the battles last after they restarted in 1417? And what were the Hooks named for? Rmhermen 17:56, Nov 8, 2003 (UTC)
- Hooks are what you use for catching cod. The battles lasted until 1428 (the zoen van Delft, literally "kiss of Delft", but it probably means "reconciliation"). After that there was a short period of fighting around 1432/33. There were smaller battles outside of the periods that are mentioned now, for example when Maximillian of Austria (Cod) became count of Holland late in the 15th century.
- I will be adding more information to the page later, but it's hard to be complete, as it is a very confusing series of apparently unconnected battles. Eugene van der Pijll 19:21, 8 Nov 2003 (UTC)
