Homophobia[edit]

Is there a reason for the removal of sourced, verified material regarding Horace Andy's homophobic lyrics? This material is in accordance with all of Wikipedia's policies for biographies of living persons. Every3rdthought (talk) 21:22, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think you'll need to find a reliable independent source that states that Horace's lyrics are homophobic if you want to keep that information here. Wouldn't the same argument apply to the information that his lyrics concern religion and social justice, i.e., if you're making the claim that his lyrics contain a certain content, then that claim must be sourced? I have removed unsourced material regarding the lyrical content of Andy's work (as well as the adjective 'devout' describing his Rastafarian beliefs, which would seem not to be NPOV terminology). I have also included sourced material regarding the controversy over Andy's stance on homosexuality, including an interview with Andy from respected online reggae magazine United Reggae.
