Which was it?[edit]

shows that, if it was between 200-300 kyr ago, it was the-one-before-the-eemian at about 240 kyr. Which presumably has a "real" name, or at least an isotopic stage name William M. Connolley (talk) 21:39, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of contribution[edit]

Dudley Miles, could you please explain why you removed the two sentences I added to the end of the History section? The first I can guess was because of the big quote. I didn't notice anything about the other.TLHami26 (talk) 19:20, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The first sentence was jargon which will mean nothing to non-expert readers. The second is wrong. You refer to a "glacian", which is not a word in English but presumably a typo for glaciation. More importantly, you are not correct that the Hoxnian correlates with the Elsterian glaciation, MIS 12. It was an interglacial and correlates with the Holstein interglacial, MIS 11, as the source you cite states. Dudley Miles (talk) 22:26, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the feedback. I will be more mindful while reading the source material and posting information.TLHami26 (talk) 22:14, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
