Wondering how to edit this U.S. City Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Cities standards might help.

I did some minor work on the article: moved the Garywood blurb lower in the article (I can do that, I work for Garywood), explained the "Hueytown Hum," and expanded a bit on the Allisons and Neil Bonnett. Realkyhick 21:04, 10 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV[edit]

Maintaining a NPOV is essential. I removed some superlative terms like "tremendous" and "explosive" to better bring the article into line with what is expected. JodyB talk 14:39, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mine Disaster[edit]

"A mine disaster in February, 1905, demolished their plans, as an underground explosion, one of the worst recorded mining disasters in Alabama history entombed the entire day crew and caved in the mine entrance. When rescuers finally cleared the 1500-foot-deep (150 m) shaft, they found 106 dead men and twenty dead mules."

This isn't much information on the worst mining disaster in Alabama's history. Shouldn't there be at least an actual date, if not a separate article on this disaster? Jtyroler (talk) 10:51, 9 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
