Notability[edit]

I question the notability of this article, seeing as it's second sentence "boasts" that the town "has a garage, a shop, a pub and two churches, one of which meets in the village hall." Frvernchanezzz (talk) 11:54, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm inclined to agree with Frvernchanezzz. BTW according to the Swindon Advertiser, though Jamie Cullum lived there for 17 years he was not born there, was educated 7 miles away in Chippenham, and left when he was 18. - Pointillist (talk) 15:27, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Consensus established by numerous deletion discussions is that villages are inherently notable, and this is reflected here and here; it would therefore be somewhat pointless to attempt to change this consensus, which seems to have wide-ranging input over a considerable period of time. Disambiguation[edit]

I've disambiguated links to Guides, Brownies, Rainbows and John Buckley. I'm not sure what the relevance of the (empty) section titled Mount Zion is, so I'm about to remove it.
