Merger[edit]

  • Strongly oppose. Hulman & Company is a family holding company with two wildly diverse interests. Despite the lack of content here, it would be totally inappropriate to merge it with either the Clabber Girl article or any of the numerous articles concerning IRL or the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. --RBBrittain 19:41, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • Strongly oppose---it is three divisions that are run as separate companies; Clabber Girl, IndyCar, and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway are all run as separate companies. --AEMoreira042281 12:14, 1 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Seriously?[edit]

"Hulmans, also known for their shaddy buisness dealings and previous ownership of Terre Haute Coke and Carbon Coal Plant, which may in the future be come a hazardous waste site due to the careless disposal of hazardous materials while the plant was open!"

SERIOUSLY? Who wrote this? I'm amazed that someone who is actually navigating Wikipedia produced a sentence like that. I don't even know if the content contained within the sentence is true, but if it is it needs to be included in the article, so I fixed it a bit, can someone add the "Citation needed" footnote thing after this sentence? It seems to me like the person who wrote this is not very intelligent and definitely has an agenda, so I'm gonna do some research and perhaps amend it —Preceding unsigned comment added by 148.85.212.68 (talk) 17:56, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

EDIT: On second thought, this is completely speculative and I did a quick search and could find nothing on it, so it's gonna be edited out. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 148.85.212.68 (talk) 18:00, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
