hi i want some help on data stage—Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.247.15.1 (talkcontribs) 11:55, 16 March 2007

An anonymous users has been posting a section of text that is critical of DataStage job parameter encryption and decryption. I believe it is an original theory or point of view and an attempt to turn the entry into an attack page. It is more appropriate to raise the issue with IBM or in one of the discussion forums listed in this entry. I have commented out the text and if this person wants to keep it on the page I suggest we move into dispute resolution and have the content examined. --Vmcburney (talk) 01:01, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Product info?[edit]

Lots of info on the history of the product and the company but just one opening sentence about what it does & how it works....can someone add more? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.73.199.69 (talk) 19:01, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I second this. The article sounds like an extract from an IBM product information pamphlet, and is redundant ("powerful tool" mentioned two or three times.) Meanwhile, what the thing does and where its three types of parallelism enter are not explained. wikipedia has a marking for "incomplete article" and I suggest this page be so flagged. Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page[edit]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:
