Just wondering why the following 4 entries are on this disambiguation page.

I formation in American football
One or capital "i" in Roman numerals
Selves known by the pronoun "I"
Incompletes, scores used in academic grading in North America
...

1) Does "IS" (or "Is" or "is") represent the 'I formation' in American Football?? Is this ("IS") a code or abbreviation for "I-formation"??
2) When is the Roman numeral "I" (one) represented as "IS" or "Is"?
3) "...'Selves' known by the pronoun 'I'..." what does that mean? Could it ("Is") be referring to the plural of "I" when referring to multiple "selves"??
4) Does "IS" represent "incomplete" in American grading???

Much of my confusion could be due to my ignorance of the subjects in question (it wouldn't be the first time...). Items 1,2 and 4 above seem to refer to "I" more than to "IS."
