The change?[edit]

I went around and started changing somethings to be more consistent with this page, but then I noticed that the ISO's webpage and none of the modifications at ISO 3166-2 mention the changes from weird and bizarre two-letter abbreviations to the standard mix of two and three letters. Are they actually true, or is someone mistaken? Felix the Cassowary 01:04, 30 July 2005 (UTC)

Even if they are going to be changed, it hasn't been published yet, so we shouldn't have it. The two-letter ones aren't that bad anyway, but apart from that, if/when the new codes appear in a newsletter, the part comparing them with the postal codes should be removed as well.
