List[edit]

I believe the list of ice cream parlors in this article is inappropriate. It is currently randomly listing various parlors regardless of their individual notability. It is questionable whether any list would be appropriate (as opposed to perhaps mentioning one or two of the largest chains in the prose). If there is to be a list it should be restricted to major, notable operations, not just any shop that somebody wants to add.

I too have questions regarding the list of ice cream parlors included in this article. Most of them are not American parlors, although this page is designated as an American article/page. I second the idea that if contributors want to include a list it should be restricted to major, notable operations, not just any establishment still in business.
