Incident at Oglala (1992) documentary[edit]

This is billed as a 1992 documentary, but on the back of the DVD case it says "1988 / Color / Approximate Feature Running Time: 90 Min." but also "(c) 1992 Miramax Films Release. All Arights Reserved." So which is it? And if it is 1992 then it should be known it was made in 1988.

Amnesty International[edit]

I changed the comment that said Amnesty International claimed Peltier was innocent. AI said he was a political prisoner, not that he was innocent of the murders, as another editor pointed out to me recently.

The International Indian Treaty Council, however, did say Peltier was innocent in a letter to the United Nations Human Rights Commission, dated January 24, 2002.

GeoLocation[edit]

43°09′25″N 102°41′53″W / 43.157°N 102.698°W / 43.157; -102.698 Looks (to me) like The Jumping Bull area, the location of the shooting.

This is close, but I don't see much documentation of the location, except that it is "Oglala". Can anyone find something more specific? ( Martin | talk • contribs 05:30, 7 April 2012 (UTC))[reply]
