Flying Doctor Comparison from 1978 Hawkwind 25 Years On Album[edit]

Suicidal Tendencies Institutionalized parallels the riff, chords and breaks found in Hawkind's 25 Years On song "Flying Doctor" released several years earlier.

Fair use rationale for Image:SuicidalTendenciesAlbum.jpg[edit]

Image:SuicidalTendenciesAlbum.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Emo?[edit]

Could this song be emo? I'm just wondering cause I'm emo and I like this song. Also, some of my freinds say it is.--C.R.Stinnett (talk) 23:07, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No. You just like a non-emo rock song. But hardcore punk was an influence on early pre-Jimmy Eat World emo Doc StrangeMailboxLogbook 19:50, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The song does have some similarities with the "screamo" genre, but it doesn't exactly fit the emo or screamo genre. Tithonfury (talk) 04:05, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmm...[edit]

Am I the only one who sees the similarities between this song and "Indiscipline"? RadioKAOS (talk) 06:56, 15 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

He's getting a lobotomy[edit]

He just wanted a Pepsi, but he probably got a Coke instead. "You're not thinking, you're on drugs" . As you probably know, the original receipt of Coca Cola included cocaine. But that's not all. I found a pun in Spanish: "Coca Cola" -- "Caca Loco" -- "insane from shit." Also "lobo caca" : "lobo shit". And: "It doesn't matter, I'll probably get hit by a car anyway" is perhaps a hint to another pun: "Oto Mobile". There's the "Otto motor". "Lobotomy" is written "Lobotomie" in German. Locomotive from Guns N' Roses ... So this is exactly what happens to you when you watch too much shit on TV. It turns out. They didn't have enough good program and that's all.

Are Mayorga's lyrics for this song autobiographical in nature (in whole or in part)? 173.88.246.138 (talk) 03:37, 6 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
