I think it's about a mishmash of related topics, being proud to be English but acknowledging your Irish roots, the English are constantly made to feel that they cannot be proud of their nationality because they beat some guys in Wars hundereds of years ago and it's made out to be atrocities. 167.1.176.4 (talk) 10:25, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
