Two pens[edit]

This 'two pens' business is not only rather confusing as it seems to imply that the second section was by a different hand. Rather it is the same hand, with little notable difference in pen, but more significantly a light ink. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.111.231.250 (talkcontribs)

You're right that it's confusing. I've made a change to the text, to try to clarify it. As for whether it's a new pen or lighter ink, I can't be sure myself, but Campbell (cited) definitely says it's a new pen, so I'm inclined to stick with that unless you know of other sources. If you do, please go ahead and edit to suit. Mike Christie (talk) 22:33, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
