Year of birth[edit]

I know nothing about subject matter, but note that some sources quote his birth year as 40,42,43, and 48. Dave 00:56, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Place of birth[edit]

Ivan Kliun (Kliunkov) was my relative (to be precise, a cousin of my grandmother). There is a good book by his direct granddaughter with all the details of his life and work. I might work on this article to add more correct information. For now I have corrected a widespread mistake that the village Bolshie Gorki is near Kiev. In reality it is 100 km from Moscow. Ivan Kliun (real name Kliunkov or Kliunov) as well as my grandmother (maiden name Kliunkova) were born there. I still have a piece of land in this village.
