Jōmyō-ji (Kyoto)[edit]

Jōmyō-ji (Kyoto) is currently a red link, meaning there is no Wikipedia article on that topic. Normally a red link on a DAB page should include a blue link to an existing page that gives at least some information about the topic. Unfortunately, the only page on Wikipedia that currently mentions what this might refer to is Japanese books. ("The most important variant to the established printing system that came out of this period is the Gozanban (五山版, Five-mountain edition). This edition receives its name from the printing practices unique to the five most important temples in Kyoto (Kenchō-ji 建長寺, Enkaku-ji 円覚寺, Jufuku-ji 寿福寺, Jōchi-ji 浄智寺, and Jōmyō-ji 浄妙寺), as selected by the Muromachi bakufu government.")

That's a fairly slender reed. Worse, Five Mountain System links to Jōmyō-ji (Kamakura), but not to any similarly named temple in Kyoto. Worse still, a quick search for reference materials using Google, OPAC (a Japanese library database) and Japan Knowledge Plus (a Japanese reference e-book platform) turns up nothing. I begin to doubt whether the Kyoto Jōdo-shū temple is notable enough to warrant a Wikipedia page. If it is not, there is probably no need to mention it on a disambiguation page. Looks like it would be appropriate to change the disambiguation page to a redirect to Jōmyō-ji (Kamakura). You could also request a move of Jōmyō-ji (Kamakura) to Jōmyō-ji but that takes more work. Either way, go for it. SchreiberBike (talk) 05:15, 22 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
