Untitled[edit]

The article used to claim that the translation completely avoided emendations. I do not believe that is true, it emends Psalm 49:11 I believe. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.229.231.115 (talk) 22:47, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sefaria - COI[edit]

I work with Sefaria, so have a COI.

The full text to the JPS 1985 translation is available online through Sefaria. I think this is a relevant external resource for this article. The current external link to Tagged Tanakh is a JPS internal project, and also has the complete text. The benefit of the Sefaria version is that it has the original as well, presented line-by-line next to the translation.

(The 1917 is also on Sefaria, but that's much more common to find online, and Sefaria's version isn't much different than the other JPS 1917 versions floating around.)

Not done. This seems promotional, and might be considered a WP:COPYVIO. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 16:14, 17 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Masoretic Text Editions[edit]

might be appropriate to mention what Masoretic text editions were used in NJPS, as Jewish Publication Society of America Version mentions Seligman Baer and C.D.Ginsburg editions were used in that version..thanks Gfigs (talk) 08:59, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
