[edit] No trump or notrump
This may not be the place for it, but I noticed in the main article that the bid ... no trump ... is variously written no trump, no-trump and notrump. Is there a standard; if not should there be? For what its worth, I suggest no trump (or no trumps as appropriate).Abtract 23:29, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
- Agree. "no trump" is best. "no-trump" looks strange and "notrump" is flat out wrong. Ambarish 06:03, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
- Disagree. The Bridge Writing Style Guide by Richard Pavlicek[1] recommends "notrump" as does the Bridge World magazine Style Manual and usage in the ACBL magazine, the Bridge Bulletin. Newwhist (talk) 14:16, 9 April 2011 (UTC)
[edit] Bouncing and breaking
I have removed some material which may have some validity but it wasn't referenced and conflicted with the rest of the article. Abtract 15:38, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Initial transfer bid
To the first paragraph I added "your partner's" and "(which promises at least 2 cards in your desired suit)". (Paleocon44 (talk) 07:04, 29 April 2011 (UTC)) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Paleocon44 (talk • contribs) 07:02, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
I have no idea why this section went BELOW the Reference section. Nor do I know how to move it. (Paleocon44 (talk) 07:05, 29 April 2011 (UTC))
