Events pre-dating his life[edit]

"After the French Revolution, he agreed to direct..."

Why is this here? The event described was perhaps some fifty years after the Revolution. Indeed, the Revolution itself preceded his birth. fuper (talk) 07:16, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
