Untitled[edit]

Does anyone know what year Wyatt designed Westport, Ireland? Evertype 21:46, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

A document from Mayo County Council says 1780. Can anyone confirm? Evertype 23:23, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

'Etruscan' link[edit]

I suggest removing the link to the Etruscan civilisation page, as 'Etruscan' in an 18th century design context does not relate to their artistic output, but rather to design largely inspired by decorated vases (actually Greek) found in southern Italy and then thought to be 'Etruscan'. The 'Etruscan' style of Robert Adam eg at Osterley Park) is an example. Design directly inspired by actual Etruscan finds does appear in the 1840s, especially in jewellery.
