What sort of a cousin?[edit]

This article states that Janine is a cousin of Nicephore Niepce. He died 88 years before she was born. I think it unlikely that she can be a regular cousin. I've tried hard and the maths don't work. Am I missing something obvious? Plingsby (talk) 16:05, 9 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

One of the first?[edit]

The bald claim that Niépce was amongst the first photojournalists in France needs correcting... Denise Bellon predates her amongst women photographers, as do Cartier-Bresson, Charles Chusseau-Flaviens, Jules Gervais-Courtellemont, Léon Gimpel, André Kertész among the men. Marc Riboud was a contemporary, and she worked with the Swiss-French Sabine Weiss, also a near contemporary, at Rapho --Jamesmcardle(talk) 06:39, 27 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
