How to type 〒[edit]

Is it outside the scope of this article to discuss how to type this symbol? I frequent this page simply so that I can copy-paste the postal mark into various documents. I think a short paragraph showing what script it's defined in (Unicode, JIS, etc) and how to type it in Kotoeri and whatever Windows uses would be very useful. Origins[edit]

Might someone be able to add some information on the origin of the "bar-T" symbol. I think it might be a derivation of a katakana "te" from "Tei-shin", but this is just a personal theory. Merge proposal discussion[edit]

I guess it's about naming convention; it seems that we use words, not symbols, for article names, e.g. we have near-open central vowel as the article name, not ɐ. Then perhaps you should work your magic? I don't know...--K.C. Tang 12:41, 15 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
