Pitcher or free agent?[edit]

This doesn't read like an encyclopedic entry about a pitcher to me. The article essentially consists of one paragraph about Washburn as a person and a brief overview of his Angels statistics, and the balance is about Washburn's free agency after 2005. There's nothing about his time with Seattle except for a mention that he signed a 4/36 contract with them. It's 5:30 AM and I don't know anything about his pitching career, or I'd add something, but the focus of this article needs to be corrected. 69.209.195.144 (talk) 10:28, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Have some respect. Please.[edit]

to degrade Jarrod Washburn, the Mariners, and Chuck Armstrong in the last paragraph in such a way is completely uncalled for and inappropriate for an "encyclopedia" entry. This is not a place to go off on tangents that have little to no relevance and are arguably grossly untrue. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.224.56.138 (talk) 06:01, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. I have removed it. It was a violation of WP:BLP. --Elliskev 13:03, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
