"Jean-Pierre Aumont" born

produces results of 1909, 1911, and 1913, but 1911 predominates in the first page, and the NYTimes is one of the 1911 sources.

... and the great majority of sources say he died on 30 January, not 29 January. -- JackofOz (talk) 22:47, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Suzanne Cahen Salomons[edit]

Aumont's mother was born in 1885 and died in 1940 in Paris. Does anyone know anything about Aumont's parents? Aumont did not take them with him when he left for the U.S. as they apparently were already deceased. His mother died in 1940, aged only 55, and there is no indication his father, who was even older, was still alive. Did the parents escape the Holocaust, or merely predecease it in France, where Aumont stayed until 1942 before fleeing? Really curious. Quis separabit? 19:11, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
