A proper article can be written about this phenomenon, not just a dicdef. -- The Anome 04:10, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
- I agree, plus it should be merged with jinetera. --die Baumfabrik 22:08, 7 March 2006 (UTC)

- Jinetera has now been merged with prostitution. Perhaps the merge should be to Cuba. Jlittlet 23:16, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
I believe its should be renamed Prostitution in Cuba as opposed to Jineterismo Dwanyewest (talk) 01:00, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
- Jineterismo refers to more activities than just prostitution, ie any illegal profiteering involving tourists. And plus, as it discusses in the article there is some dispute about whether jinateras are actually prostitutes. Jdcooper (talk) 12:19, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
Prostitution in Cuba should have a separate article then if that is the case because they are clearly two separate subjects.
