False death report[edit]
On April 24, 2012 a false death report for Mr. Mauldin appeared apparently on Facebook and was disseminated through the usual channels. The report was quickly proven false. I mention this only because in the event someone attempts to add that Mauldin died around the April 22-24, 2012 range, that it has been confirmed as bogus. I considered ignoring this, but these days people take Facebook and Twitter as gospel and the "false death report" thing is a bona fide trend now, so for the sake of due diligence I needed to put this on the record so any changes in status (whether done in good faith or not) can be quickly dealt with. 70.72.223.215 (talk) 15:33, 25 April 2012 (UTC)
