Origin of Band Name[edit]

Pandora's bio says the band is "named after the abolitionist," as per the song of the same name. It could also be viewed as a play on the Sheriff from "I Shot The Sheriff." Cleanup[edit]

I have finished doing cleanup for a majority of the page, fixing most of the grammar, information styling, and the links provided. However, there are several notes for the page after editing it: 1. More research and information needs to be provided. There are a few gaps in the information. 2. Fix paragraph as best as possible; the fifth paragraph under this [[1]] I left alone because the information and grammar is too bad that I could not improve it. Please redo this paragraph or remove it to make the article better. 3. CITATIONS! A lot of this information needs a source/citation, and I marked most of the areas requiring such on the page with a ^{[citation needed]} tag so that other editors may contribute sources (such as news sources.) 4. Empty heading; I left [heading] empty because there was no information between 2010 and 2013 (read note #1 above) provided for me to redo. 5. Recent information; there is no information on JBB after 2013, so that's worth noting. 6. Band Members; most of the band members do not have an article, so they could receive one.

In the list of past members there is a link for Josh Newman that takes you to the major league pitcher, Joshua Paul Newman. That is incorrect. The Josh Neuman (different spelling) that was in JBB was a musician and currently a music industry executive. <ref>https://www.linkedin.com/in/josh-neuman-2050216<ref>

Orphaned references in John Brown's Body (band)[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of John Brown's Body (band)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
