Merger proposal[edit]

I built this article and then found out that there was a John Cherry (Lieutenant Governor) article that already existed. The apparant purpose was to distinguish that article from John Cherry, an Australian politician. I support this merger on the basis that giving an article tag of the person's current office gets very confusing if the person attains another office. Jtmichcock 15:50, 21 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I created the other entry by request from another user. I agree, it should be merged here. Gflores Talk 18:45, 21 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, merge John Cherry (Lieutenant Governor) here to retain what is a better naming convention.--Isotope23 05:59, 23 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Ooops, there wasn't any content that I could see that still needed to be merged from the older article. But when I tried merging the edit histories, I seem to have botched things terribly. I've asked for assistance at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard#botched history merger WP:AN Apologies. olderwiser 18:45, 24 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

We must be able to do better[edit]

This article is about the man who has been holding the second highest office in the state of Michigan, yet there are only a couple references for the whole stub like article. I have been spending a lot of time writing about minor parties. I have cited scores of references. I had no idea an article about a major party office holder would only have a couple citations. There has got to be a lot more information, and references about this man.--Libertyguy 01:59, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality dispute[edit]

"The neutrality of this article is disputed. Please see the discussion on the talk page."

This tag has been on the article page for weeks. What's the dispute? Sue D. Nymme (talk) 18:29, 8 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
