The DNB says In 1623 he was appointed regius professor of physic, to which he was recommended by Dr. Isaac Barrow as being ‘the best man of his profession in the university’ (ib. 1623, pp. 605, 619). The ODNB is no different. Isaac Barrow (bishop) would have been about 13 at the time. So it can't be him. Charles Matthews (talk) 10:47, 30 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
