Father[edit]

His father was Egbert Lucas. This is not the easiest thing to document, but see [1]. It is mentioned on [2] at thepeerage.com (which cannot properly be used here) in the context of his wife Helen Morar Portal, the daughter of Sir Reginald Portal the admiral.
