Naval rank[edit]

Very interesting article. Just wondering about the progression in the headings from "Captain" to "Commander" to "Admiral", since I think that Commander may have been a less senior naval rank than Captain. (It is now: Royal Navy officer rank insignia.) 45ossington (talk) 09:14, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Duly amended. To be honest, I nearly brought the article to you with a request for headings, but thought that would be a bit wimpish. I'm quite happy if you want to modify and & all. For now, though, changed to "Command of the Victory" since that's a famous enough vessel name. --Tagishsimon (talk) 13:37, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Name[edit]

I believe that the name is spelt Pennington, as that is what it is throughout the page, apart from the title. I am fairly sure on this as it says so on the following link. http://www.discoveryuk.com/web/hms-ark-royal/about/timeline/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.148.187.0 (talk) 14:02, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
