Time to re-remove "order number" and "result" from American Idol performances table[edit]

An editor has continually re-added these superfluous columns which don't seem encyclopedic to me.

The order number is a matter of fact but has nothing to do with Ledet himself. Instead it's something the producers of the show control to make for a more compelling production. We seem to be implying that the order number has any meaning whatsoever. We might as well go into details about how many back-up singers he had, what he wore and the arrangement. And we would be using almost exclusively fan sites and original sources to document this. Even dedicated entertainment news columns only cover this information trivially if at all. We have no reliable sources to state why a performer went 1st, 5th or 10th. And even if we did, we need a pretty good reason to include it as anything useful to understanding Ledet.

The results column is equally unhelpful. Of course he ascends to the next level until eliminated, this is true for every contestant except the winner. So the only possible relevant information is that he landed in the bottom two or three. This should only be noted if reliable sources comment on it in depth. That is, it's a ploy of reality shows, to build tension, to woo the emotions of the audience. What's notable is if they are eliminated which is covered in the prose. If several reliable sources note "wow, he's been in the bottom two five times", that also could be added to the prose. The notability of the information is too low for this chart.
