So was he born in 1918 or 1928? The sidebar says 1918 and the introductory sentence says 1928. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.127.11.190 (talk) 05:54, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I added 'in' to the introductory sentence in the Early Years. Maybe this will illiminate any confusion.

I heard John Leguizamo was working on a biopic of Esquivel... maybe someone can check that out and add it to the article... Amirman (talk) 20:21, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Music in recent TV and films[edit]

I believe an Esquivel track plays in the 3rd act of Carnal Knowledge (1971). It's the second cha-cha music selection that Cindy plays after the boys have plotted their wife swap and Jonathan (Jack Nicholson) is dancing with her. Sadly, imdb's music page for this movie ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0066892/soundtrack?ref_=tt_trv_snd ) doesn't list either cha-cha song. Hard to believe Mike Nichols coulda thought these were public domain / available for appropriation without accreditation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DalotekAffair (talkcontribs) 05:18, 31 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ernie Kovacs[edit]

How can the use of Eaquival's music on the Ernie Kovacs Show be absent — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2604:2000:1000:71:FDF9:FC32:4B4:83FF (talk) 02:16, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
