Redundant lists?[edit]

Currently this list includes a lot of the same people who are listed at List of botanists by author abbreviation. Would it not be preferable to pare down this list to botanists who have not published taxonomic work that includes the new plant names that cause them to be given an official abbreviation? Personally, I ignore this list, but if it were a list of people who haven't done taxonomic work (plant physiologists, specialists in plant breeding, plant behaviour, etc.), it could be more interesting.
