A few maps would be very useful.....Paul venter 10:33, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Refs and content[edit]

I've attempted to fix up the refs as all the authors had been put in alphabetical order as well as the papers. That said, I have not checked content but can see that the vast majority of it appears to have been lifted from the sources verbatum. At the moment the article has the feel of a tutorial essay and warrants a rehash and synthesis. Maybe if I get time. Oxonhutch 12:20, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

Maps Helpful[edit]

There should be several maps; The Kaapvaal Canton today, and before it hit Pilabara, at the time of that SuperContenent, and a couple afterward. A wander map (showing how it has rotated and moved north south (east west maybe).

Name change[edit]

"Craton" is part of the name, like "Windsor Castle", and the article title should read "Kaapvaal Craton" - see Yilgarn Craton Androstachys (talk) 06:56, 23 January 2010 (UTC)

I'd agree - and the same goes for all of the other individual craton (and shield) articles. cheers Geopersona (talk) 06:26, 28 April 2013 (UTC)

Requested move[edit]

Kaapvaal cratonKaapvaal Craton – caps are appropriate for a proper name such as this, a specific geographical entity and for consistency across WP - as discussed at WP geology — Preceding unsigned comment added by Geopersona (talkcontribs) 19:49, 3 May 2013‎ (UTC)

Suggested merger: Barberton Greenstone Belt[edit]

I would like to suggest that the section on the Barberton Greenstone Belt be merged with the Makhonjwa Mountains article.--Discott (talk) 10:53, 10 December 2014 (UTC)
