What is the effect?[edit]

Is it just me or does the article not describe what the actual effect is?202.138.58.219 (talk) 09:38, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It isn't just you. I'll put a missing information template on the article. 71.237.11.78 (talk) 01:08, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think it is the same as the Inertial supercharging effect. Is this any help? Biscuittin (talk) 21:39, 26 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re-organization?[edit]

I think that Kadenacy effect and Inertial supercharging effect are the same thing and the articles could be merged. Pressure wave supercharger appears to be different because it requires the use of a rotary valve. Exhaust pulse pressure charging is also different because it applies only to diesels and relies on excess air being blown through the cylinder by a Roots blower and then forced back in by the exhaust pulse. Have I got this right? Biscuittin (talk) 17:39, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There was also the Petter "superscavenger" engine which used one of the above effects but I am not sure which one. Biscuittin (talk) 17:47, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have added an "expert" tag. Biscuittin (talk) 17:52, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have added an explanation and removed the tags. Biscuittin (talk) 09:16, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
