Notability tag and other problems[edit]

From the article it is absolutely unclear what this "theatre" is. Any bunch of theatre students can persom at festivals. The award in question goes to Denborough, not to Kage. Reviews of plays printed in local newspapers are not significant proof of notability: they say nothing of success, only of intentions. A review by a notable theatre critic would be good, but from a first best journalist is cheap. You may desiagre with me, but the article gives close to nothing to conclude that this troupe is notable for encyclopedia. A simple question: after reading the article, would a person moderately interested in theatre want to see the performance? `'Míkka>t 18:38, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In order
  • the article is a stub, the references and links point to other information, there is obvious room for expansion.
  • it is a physical theatre company (origins in dance), as indicated by its tagging for WikiProject Dance on this page and categorisation.
  • the ASSITEJ festival is an international festival - it was held in Adelaide, South Australia. I do not expect that any "theatre student" would be able to have performed and received press coverage in the city's major paper.
  • The Age is the major non-News Ltd newspaper in Melbourne, Victoria, The Advertiser is the major newspaper in Adelaide
  • A review by a notable theatre critic - better dance, but this is Australia, so there are not the high profile critics found in New York, London or Paris.
  • Both The Age and The Advertiser are reliable sources. The Australia Dancing site is maintained by Ausdance and the National Library of Australia - there is an article there.

I am removing the notability tag. -- Paul foord (talk) 11:19, 14 October 2008 (UTC) OK. `'Míkka>t 20:14, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Location in lead[edit]

Should the company's location/where they are a resident company be mentioned in the lead? 23impartial (talk) 18:59, 19 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
