Delete the page[edit]

This person isn't noteworthy locally, nationally or internationally and I'm not sure why she has a wikipedia page. I think it should probably be deleted. Wikipedia is not Facebook. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.58.215.87 (talk) 01:47, 2 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I think we mustn't delete the page, 'cause Katrina Voss is an important announcer who became popular in the 2000s in Latin America, by her appearences in The Weather Channel. Many journalists has its page on Wikipedia. This one not pretend to be a Facebook profile, quite the contrary, it reflects Voss' trajectory. I believe that we can't delete it.--190.173.24.174 (talk) 21:22, 3 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This person, Katrina Voss, does not meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines and therefore this article should be deleted {{Db-a7}} without further hesitation. Her biography is not a biography, but a scanty resumé. She has no notable accomplishments or awards, nor has she made any significant or noteworthy contribution(s) in any field of endeavour. Cited references are to articles that are about her own name or about topics about which she has no provable expertise, since her education and qualifications are not clear and present a murky picture at most. To address the preceding entry (3 October, 2013), she was not an "important" announcer (if there even is such a thing), she is not a journalist, and a un-notable person's "trajectory" is not a valid criterion for notability according to Wikipedia's guidelines. I submit that this article is a vanity piece created by Voss herself or an ally, and as such should be deleted immediately as its continued inclusion lessens and cheapens Wikipedia's credibility.
