The title should be renamed to Kave Ahangar[edit]

First of all, the "h" in Kaveh does not make any sense with a latin script, as it is merely added in the Arabic script to pronounce the "e" at the end. The name is actually "Kave" and NOT "Kaveh" - if the Persians used the Latin script today, they'd write Kave without an "h" an the end.

Next, the Name of that legendary hero is

ALWAYS mentioned as "Kave Âhangar" in Persian, NEVER as Kave alone. Please correct that (I don't know how I can correct a title).

I removed the racial epithet Tazi from arab.

English language sources say Kaveh, so that's the way we spell it. Dougweller (talk) 14:59, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Citation template[edit]

Please don't remove this until the citations are fixed in line with WP:CITE. Thanks. Dougweller (talk) 14:59, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Tone of the article[edit]

The tone of the article is not very neutral to say the least. It sounds as if a nationalist wrote it. I hope someone can fix this and bring a much more "neutral tone", as I unfortunatly am not the person for this job.

KāveKaveh the Blacksmith – The correct name for the article. Article lead says Kaveh the Blacksmith and that is what it should be in the title. Doug Weller moved the page to Kaveh without and “h” in 2011, saying that Persians don't spell it with an H. They do (here are a few sources [1], [2]) and they don't spell it with a line above the “a” either. Just Kaveh is too basic and is used by a disambig page and the proposed title is a redirect. — Yours, Berrely • TalkContribs 10:35, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Doug Weller, no worries! Persian names are some of the most confusing things. There are literally like 15 different spellings for each name! — Yours, Berrely • TalkContribs 13:05, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
