Authorship?[edit]

...composed in 1914 by Ivor Novello (though the melody is that of Gustav Holst's setting of the Christmas Carol "In the Bleak Midwinter") with words by Lena Guilbert Ford.

Does ‘composed’ refer to the words or the music? The sheet music illustrated on this page says it was words by Ford and music by Novello. The wiki page on Tit-Bits (magazine) says Novello wrote the words in a competition hosted by that publication. So where do Holst and Ford fit in? Could you clarify? The opening line of the music bears a passing resemblance to the Holst setting of "In the Bleak Midwinter" but is most definitely not the same melody. I have altered the opening of the article accordingly, and placed the reference to Holst lower down the page.Bkesselman (talk) 17:21, 25 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
