Beahan's Birthday[edit]

The article says that the Nagasaki mission of August 9 '45 was flown on Beahan's 27th birthday but the inset lists him born on July 9. Which is correct? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.223.6.208 (talk) 23:48, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sources are consistent that he was born on Aug 9. But there is a much bigger problem with the facts presented on this article. See the following section for details.--Tdadamemd sioz (talk) 14:21, 12 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Beahan's Deathday[edit]

There is a long-standing discrepancy in Beahan's date of death, which is listed at many references as March 10th. But his gravestone clearly says that he died on March 9th. (One photo available here.) And to support that, here is the obituary section of the Chicago Tribute that says that "Beahan died Thursday", here. March 9th was a Thursday, which can be verified here. Based on all of this evidence, the article will be changed to show that he actually died on March 9th, and not March 10th.--Tdadamemd sioz (talk) 14:21, 12 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
