Oblast[edit]

The article says that Khatlon, and then says that Khatlon Oblast was created in 1992. Does "Oblast" mean province or are "Khatlon Province" and "Khatlon Oblast" two different, but similar regions? Wakablogger2 (talk) 22:00, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
