Pic in the bottom right shows the fountain as supposedly seen "from Dubai." Even as the tallest fountain in the world, it is impossible that anything in Jeddah could be seen in Dubai, on the exact opposite side of the Peninsula. Something's fishy.

Its the first largest fountain in jeddah and also in the whole world if we compare to the eiffel tower it is more taller than it if we exclude the antena.

So how tall is it?[edit]

I don't know. There are two figures in play, 853 feet and 1024 feet. Each supported by several sources, none very reliable (that I found right off), and many probably copying each other. Herostratus (talk) 14:27, 21 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

How much water is being ejected per second?[edit]

It's funny to read how much water is air-born at any time and using ideal physics without friction, you could answer my question:

 200m = 0.5 * 9.81m/s^2 * t^2
 40s^2 = t^2
 t = 6.4s
 16t / 6.4s = 2.5t/s

but I assume the "16t airborne" figure also considers the smaller drops falling slower but then again, if you allow that, it's totally pointless as very tiny droplets will not really fall back. They will remain airborne indefinitely, so the airborne mass is just constantly increasing. Therefore ... wouldn't it make more sense to either elaborate on what this "16t airborne" actually means or to just state the nozzle's throughput?
