Great Northern and Strand Railway and Kingsway tramway subway marked {{dubious}}[edit]

The Great Northern and Strand Railway intended extension to the south is uncited. The Kingsway tramway subway started south of Holborn (or, at least, about 150m south of High Holborn) rather than running beneath it. Tagged, pending a source or some clarification. --Old Moonraker (talk) 19:42, 14 July 2011 (UTC)

OK, no defenders: trimmed. The comprehensive Subterranean Britannica suggests that the original southern terminus was to be at Temple Station, 200 metres closer to the river, but this was amended before the line's bill went to Parliament; there was never an intention to proceed further. The {{cn}} tag for wartime art storage remains, but this is also covered in Subterranean Britannica. If I can't find a print source, I'll use that.--Old Moonraker (talk) 05:58, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
My previous was absolute cobblers—a "complete 180" in navigational terms—so apologies. Now fixed, along with the {{cn}} request. --Old Moonraker (talk) 12:49, 22 July 2011 (UTC)
