[edit] Intro

Created on April 20, 2005. Sadly a good deal of this article got jammed up and was erased, so much of this must be recreated over this coming week. Details on Confucian philosophers will be added, as well as major Buddhist monks with their schools and works. In terms of current scholars on Heidegger, semiotics, hermeneutics, &etc. this will be filled in only briefly, and spun off into specific articles.

Christian philosophers will be found in a separate article on Korean Christian philosophy as the subject is so large, and contentious because of established churches and cult subdivisions, it needs its own entry. And with hope that will be done by other hands as this is out of our field of expertise. POofYS Dated 07:59, 20 April 2005.
