Please leave a few words on how you think the Krishna-centered traditions of Hinduism should be represented?

This is a place to discuss a joint venture. Please comment on the proposal of a new Krishna centered project. There are many traditions where Krishna is worshiped and His names revered. The purpose is to join the forces and create more beautiful and well resourced articles. The traditions are not limited to one or two, there are many and all should be given equal attention. Leave a few words here and we will discuss it more and more.
Interesting project idea. May be a bit specialized, but it could work. Enough articles are within its scope. I recommend test-driving it as a task force within WP:VAISHNAVA for a while and see if it has potential to remain an active WikiProject. Also, is this going to cover Krishna-centered topics only, or simply anything related to Krishna and Krishna worship (i.e. Vaishnava topics). If it's the former, then Dvaita really shouldn't be within the scope of the project, since followers of the belief do not hold a Krishna-centered theology, but rather a Vishnu/Narayana-centered theology with emphasis on the belief that all major avatars (including Krishna) are "full" avatars of Vishnu. If it's the latter, the project may be better suited as a part of [WP:VAISHNAVA]]. The project box above is nice, by the way. --Shruti14tcs 23:48, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
