GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)

Borsoka, I am in the midst of my review of your article and find so far that it meets the majority of criteria for Good Article review. I have a few comments and suggestions that need to be addressed in order to proceed to this article's passage. I will be completing this review section by section, so please feel free to make corrections as I add comments. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns in the meantime. Thanks again for all your hard work on this intriguing article! -- Caponer (talk) 01:38, 29 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:

Lede

  • Per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Lead section, this lede adequately defines the topic, establishes context, explains why the topic is notable, and summarizes the most important points.
  • In the second paragraph, it may flow better if the sentence is reworded from "with King Henry IV of Germany's assistance" to "with the assistance of King Henry IV of Germany"
  • Kingdom of Hungary and Cumans should be de-linked in the third paragraph, as they are both linked in the first paragraph.
    • Thank you. "Cumans" is linked for the first time, "Kingdom of Hungary" delinked. Borsoka (talk) 04:04, 29 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Per WP:LEADCITE, the inline citation is acceptable in this instance because the quotation is not repeated in the article's prose below.

Early years (before 1064)

  • Please ensure that inline citations are placed in numerical order. Instances where they are out of order are: following the "Pole in his ways and life" quote in the first paragraph; and following "20 January 1064" in the third paragraph.
  • Per WP:CITEDENSE, inline citations should be consolidated at the ends of sentences where possible. The two citations in the last sentence of the second paragraph can probably be grouped at the end of the sentence.
  • The Illuminated Chronicle image is in the public domain and is therefore acceptable for use in this article.
  • With the exception of the above mentioned comments, this section reads well and is adequately sourced with verifiable inline citations. I have no other comments or questions.

Duke in Hungary (1064–1077)

  • As mentioned in the section above, I suggest consolidating inline citations in numerical order at the end of sentences.
  • The mural image is in the public domain and is therefore acceptable for use in this article.
  • With the exception of the above mentioned comments, this section reads well and is adequately sourced with verifiable inline citations. I have no other comments or questions.

His reign
Consolidation (1077–1085)

  • As mentioned in the sections above, I suggest consolidating inline citations in numerical order at the end of sentences.
  • The Illuminated Chronicle image is in the public domain and the denar image is CC BY 3.0, therefore both are acceptable for use in this article.
  • With the exception of the above mentioned comments, this section reads well and is adequately sourced with verifiable inline citations. I have no other comments or questions.

Expansion (1085–1092)

  • As mentioned in the section above, I suggest consolidating inline citations in numerical order at the end of sentences.
  • The Mato Celestin Medović image is in the public domain, as is the 11th century map of Hungary; so both are good to go. The reliquary image is also in the public domain, and acceptable for use in this article.
  • With the exception of the above mentioned comments, this section reads well and is adequately sourced with verifiable inline citations. I have no other comments or questions.

Last years (1092–1095)

  • As mentioned in the section above, I suggest consolidating inline citations in numerical order at the end of sentences.
  • With the exception of the above mentioned comments, this section reads well and is adequately sourced with verifiable inline citations. I have no other comments or questions.

Family

  • The Empress Irene image is in the public domain, and is therefore free for use here.
  • This section reads well and it is adequately sourced with verifiable inline citations. I have no other comments or questions.

Legacy
Consolidation of the Christian monarchy

  • The Star Gentian image is CC BY-SA 2.5 and is therefore acceptable for use in this article.
  • This section reads well and it is adequately sourced with verifiable inline citations. I have no other comments or questions.

The Holy King Last years (1092–1095)

  • As mentioned in the section above, I suggest consolidating inline citations in numerical order at the end of sentences.
  • The Miniature of King Laszlo and the Anjou Legendarium image are both in the public domain and are acceptable for use in this article.
  • The infobox is properly formatted.
  • With the exception of the above mentioned comments, this section reads well and is adequately sourced with verifiable inline citations. I have no other comments or questions.
